Requirements • An undergraduate, MASc, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or System Engineering. • Strong development skills in ROS, Python, C++, or/and C#. • Knowledge in computer vision (e.g., Multiview geometry, SLAM), image recognition (e.g., DNN), and/or robotics (e.g., sensor fusion, mobile robotics). • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, to communicate daily.
Preferred Qualifications • Track record of publications in the areas of computer vision, image processing, and structural health monitoring • Knowledge and skills in applying cutting-edge sensor and hardware technology (e.g., LDAR, Time-of-flight, AR headset). • Hardware and software integration for vision sensing (e.g., camera, lidar) and localization and mapping • Robotics simulators (e.g., Gazebo) • Experience and skills in Unity (Unreal) development for AR, VR, and Mixed Reality
