At THERMEX, we EXplore THERMal science and engineering—from fundamentals to applications.

Our research seeks to observe, understand and engineer heat flow in advanced electronic materials and devices.

We investigate thermal transport physics at the nanoscale and microscale, engineer heat flow through electrical, magnetic, and optical interactions, and pursue innovative approaches to solid-state thermal management for next-generation semiconductor technologies.

We recruit MS and PhD students who are interested in materials thermal science and engineering.
