안녕하세요.
제가 합격한 학교 deposit deadline이 있어서 먼저 해놓고 기다리다가 다른 곳이 연락이 없어 탈락한 줄 알고 비자 발급까지 완료한 상태인데, 비자 발급을 받고 나서 더 가고 싶은 학교 합격 발표가 난 상황입니다.
이런 경우에 새로운 학교 I-20을 발급받게 되면, SEVIS fee부터 다 다시 지불하고 비자 신청을 해야되는건가요?
기존에 합격한 학교 FAQ에는
"In general, a newly admitted student who has not yet started their academic program is ineligible to transfer their SEVIS record at this point because they never entered the US and their SEVIS record was never activated. You will need to apply for a new I-20 and a new visa from your new school."
이라고 나와 있는데, 이러면 어떻게 되는지 궁금하네요. 혹시 아시는 분 계실까요?
